Global Duty Free DOOH Campaign

Position KitKat as the go-to travel snack in global duty-free environments, capturing stressed travelers and driving impulse purchases across cultures.

The Challenge

A global digital OOH campaign built around the universal idea of taking a break. We developed a campaign platform designed to work across languages and cultures, supported by custom DOOH creative for major airport hubs including London, Singapore, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Brazil, and Doha. The work included large-scale digital installations across gates, terminals, and baggage claim, integrated retail touchpoints in duty-free stores, and social extensions designed to encourage traveler participation and sharing.

How we did it

The campaign delivered standout performance across awareness, sales, and reach: 89% unaided brand recall among surveyed travelers, a 43% increase in duty-free KitKat sales year over year, 127M estimated passenger impressions globally, and 2.3M social impressions from traveler-generated content.
